The torrential rainstorm on September 8 showed how vital it is to get information out to you as soon as possible. Flooded intersections made travel to and from our schools difficult, time consuming, and unsafe. As a town, we already have Swift911™ in place – an opt-in system designed to make phone calls, emails, and more in the event of an emergency. A few timely notifications to parents, grandparents, and teenagers driving home from school could have lessened the number of cars that were flooded. Jose and Julia believe in using what we’ve already invested in to keep our communities vibrant and safe.
